Im Strickfieber ... Knitting Fever


Diese Mützen mit Pelsbommel sind diesen Winter der letzte Schrei in Norwegen. Im Geschäft völlig überteuert, aber selbstgemacht durchaus erschwinglich. Da der Wolleladen Tjorven in Oslo freundlicherweise eine Strickanleitung ins Netz gestellt hat, habe ich für meine beiden Töchter welche zum Geburtstag gestrickt. Meine eigene befindet sich momentan in Arbeit ...


This winter these hats with fur pompoms are totally in fashion in Norway. Absolutely overpriced if store-bought, but fairly reasonable if selfmade. Yarnstudio Tjorven in Oslo was so kind and put a knitting instruction on their website. Thus I made those two hats for my daughters' birthdays. I am currently working on my own ...

Erste Schritte ... First Steps




Schon über ein Jahr trage ich mich mit dem Gedanken meinen eigenen Blog zu schreiben. Und heute traue ich mich. 
Meine Posts werde ich - soweit möglich -  sowohl in Englisch als auch in Deutsch schreiben, weil das die beiden Sprachen sind, in denen ich lebe, denke, lese ...
Zum Einstieg heute ein Zitat, über das ich neulich gestolpert bin und das mich sehr berührt hat.
