Kon-Tiki, Cake and Daffodils

Habe gestern mit unserem Besuch einen kleinen Ausflug auf die Museumsinsel bzw. -halbinsel Bygdøy gemacht und das Kon-Tiki Museum besucht. Sehr interessante und informationsreiche Ausstellung! Danach gab es leckeren Apfelkuchen und ein Tässchen heiße Schokolade oder Kaffee bei Hemma Hos. Besonders gefallen hat mir dort - neben dem tollen Lunch- und Kuchenangebot - die farbenfrohe Narzissendeko. Ich konnte von dem vielen Gelb gar nicht genug kriegen. Habe gerade so viel Durst nach Sonne und Farben. Ihr wisst schon, der Frühling ist hier oben im Norden etwas später dran.
Made a little trip yesterday with our guest to Oslo's Museum Island resp. Peninsula Bygdøy to visit the Kon-Tiki Museum. Filled with lots of information and interesting exhibitions!
After that we enjoyed delicious applecake plus hot chocolate or coffee at Hemma Hos. Apart from the great lunch and cake selection I especially liked their colorful daffodil decoration. I couldn't get enough of the happy yellow. I am really longing for summer and colors right now. Here up north it takes a bit longer till spring kicks in.
